Ask somebody, “How was your day?” and you might get a “Fine” or a “Good”.
A few better questions:
“What was your favorite part of the day?”
“What was something interesting that happened?”
“What made you smile?”
“What did you learn today?”
“What would you do over?”
“What are you most grateful for from today?”
Better questions lead to more interesting answers.
We may think we know everything about another person, but there is always more to learn. When we feel stagnant in our friendships or relationships, we can always try asking better questions.
