About the destination you hold in your mind:
When you finally reach it, you’ll find there isn’t much there.
Any satisfaction or contentment you find is fleeting.
And you will only feel a shadow of the fulfillment you promised yourself.
Knowing this, it may seem logical to forego the trouble and skip the journey. Save the hard effort wasted for a destination that holds so little.
But the value and worth are in the journey itself.
Without a destination to direct our aim, there is nothing to overcome.
When we let go of the expectations we hold for the destination, we free ourselves to take in the scenery along the way.
